OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

About the Opportunity Scholarship

The Opportunity Scholarship Program helps North Carolina families access educational funding to attend participating private schools. Since 2014, the program has provided families with financial assistance to help cover tuition and required school fees for eligible students in grades Kindergarten through 12. The XyayX Institute proudly accepts Opportunity Scholarship funds for eligible students.

The scholarship is administered by the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA) and is available to North Carolina students regardless of income level. Household income is used to determine the scholarship award amount a student may receive.

Who Can Apply?

Students may be eligible for the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship if they:

  • Reside in North Carolina

  • Are entering Kindergarten through Grade 12

  • Meet North Carolina residency requirements

  • Apply through the NCSEAA Opportunity Scholarship Program

  • Intend to attend an eligible participating private school

For the 2026–2027 school year, students who live in North Carolina may qualify for an Opportunity Scholarship. Unlike many financial aid programs, eligibility is not limited by income. Instead, household income and family size are used to determine the scholarship award amount a student may receive.

Important Enrollment Information

The XyayX Institute is currently completing the final stages of processing and system setup with the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program for the 2026–2027 school year. During this temporary processing period, families who are completing their Opportunity Scholarship application and do not see The XyayX Institute listed among participating schools should select "Other" or "School Not Listed" when prompted.

Our school is actively working with the appropriate agencies to finalize processing and expects to be fully listed within the Opportunity Scholarship system by mid-to-late July 2026. Once our listing becomes active, enrolled families will receive additional instructions if any updates are required.

Families should not delay submitting their Opportunity Scholarship application while waiting for our school listing to appear. Applying as early as possible helps secure eligibility and ensures your application is processed in a timely manner.

If you have any questions regarding the application process or enrollment at The XyayX Institute, please contact our admissions team for assistance.
